This is the most equipped variant of the recently unveiled Tecno Spark 10 series. There's also the standard variant Tecno Spark 10 (ki5q) and the stripped variant Tecno Spark 10C (ki5k).
Basically, all the three phones wear an identical looks and have the same screen size. But, while the screens of the Spark 10C and standard Spark 10 come with tear-drop notches and feature 720p resolutions, the screen of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro (ki7) has a hole-punch (or camera cut-out) and features 1080p resolution. Still, all the three phones support high (90hz) screen refresh rate.

Apart from its hole-punch screen and 1080p resolution, Tecno Spark 10 Pro is also equipped with a stronger CPU, higher megapixel front camera, and higher storage option than its two sibling. However, other features of the Pro model still remain as those of the standard Spark 10.
On the other hand, the standard Spark 10 is equipped with a better CPU, recent Android, higher RAM, and higher megapixel rear camera than the least equipped Tecno Spark 10C. Also, despite that the two have an identical 720p displays, the screen of the standard variant looks more vibrant. Yet, except for those ones, there is no other major difference between the standard Spark 10 and Spark 10C.

Meanwhile, though the previous Tecno Spark 9 Pro (kh7) was a nice looking phone, yet, Tecno Spark 10 Pro wear a more attractive looks. The new phone features a slightly bigger display and a hole-punch front camera. And despite having a boxy frame (flat edges and flat back) like the earlier one; Spark 10 Pro features a slightly taller aspect ratio.
And it's those few modifications that cause the Tecno Spark 10 Pro to look more attractive and sleeker than its predecessor. Also, unlike the earlier model, Spark 10 Pro comes with a rear camera bump. This also contributes to the premium looks of this phone especially when the camera bump looks like those of the recent iPhones.

Besides having a more attractive design and bigger display, Tecno Spark 10 Pro is also equipped with an up-to-date features and slightly better hardware than its predecessor.
For instance, despite that the latest phone's screen also maintain the 1080p resolution and rich colours of the previous one, yet, as i mentioned earlier, the latest screen support 90hz (higher) refresh rate and it's slightly brighter too.
Also out-of-the-box, Tecno Spark 10 Pro is running on the latest Android 13 OS. The Helio G85 CPU on the earlier phone has also been upgraded to Helio G88. However, despite that Helio G88 CPU ought to be better than the Helio G85, unfortunately, both of the CPUs are technically the same. In other words, they have the same processing power.

Furthermore, compared to the earlier phone's 4GB/6GB of RAM, Spark 10 Pro is fitted an usual higher RAM of 8GB. And it's also available in an higher storage option of 256GB. Though the base variant still features 128GB inbuilt storage like the earlier model, yet the 128GB storage variant is still paired with the same 8GB of RAM as the 256GB storage variant.
Yet, in spite of those better features, Tecno Spark 10 Pro still maintain the good camera system and other nice features of its predecessor. In details, the camera system on the Spark 10 Pro is almost as that of the earlier phone. Almost because the three rear cameras on the earlier phone's have been reduced to two on the Spark 10 Pro, but, the earlier phone's 50-megapixel main rear camera and 32-megapixel front camera remain the same.
And like the ones from the earlier phone, photos from the rear cameras of this phone are also sharp, clear, and have bright colours. Selfies from this phone are also sharp and clear too, but not as detailed as expected of a typical 32-megapixel front camera.

Also like the earlier phone, Tecno Spark 10 Pro features MemFusion; which enable you to boost the performance of this phone by converting, up to 8GB, out of the phone's inbuilt storage to Virtual RAM. Thereby turning the already high RAM (8GB) of the Spark 10 Pro into 16GB.
Tecno Spark 10 Pro also retain the 5000mAh battery and 18W fast charging of the Spark 9 Pro. This phone also features USB Type-C port, side-mounted fingerprint reader, single bottom firing speaker, 3.5mm audio jack, USB OTG and single microphone like the earlier phone. Still, unlike its predecessor, the latest phone comes with NFC.

Price And Design Colours:
Currently, the starting price of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro is around 127,000 Naira. And it comes in design colour options of Starry Black and Pearl White.

Infinix Hot 30 (X6831) Is An Identical Contender:
Infinix Hot 30 (x6831) is technically the same phone as the Spark 10 Pro. In fact, the main difference between the two phones lies in their selfies cameras and fast charging rates. Unlike the Spark 10 Pro that has a 32-megapixel front camera, the Infinix phone has a lower 8-megapixel front camera. But while the Spark 10 Pro features the usual 18W fast charging, Infinix Hot 30 offers an higher 33W fast charging. In addition to its higher fast charging, the Infinix phone also comes with dual speaker.
Except for those ones, all other attributes of the Spark 10 Pro, including the stunning display, are exactly like those of the Infinix Hot 30.

DESIGN: Spark 10 Pro Looks More Sleeker Than Its Predecessor:
Though, Tecno Spark 10 Pro retain the premium boxy looks of the Spark 9 Pro, but as i said, the latest phone sports a few modifications. Firstly, the tear-drop notch on the earlier phone has been replaced with a hole-punch camera. The latest phone also has a slightly taller (20.15:9) aspect ratio. These make Tecno Spark 10 Pro to look more elegant and sleeker than its predecessor.
Furthermore, unlike the earlier model, Tecno Spark 10 Pro comes with a rear camera bump. And the bump looks like that of the recent iPhones. This also gave the new Tecno Spark the looks of a more flagship phone.

tecno-spark-10-pro-(ki7)-vs-tecno-spark-9-pro-(kh7)

Though, it looks like there are three cameras inside the camera bump of the Spark 10 Pro. But as i mentioned earlier, this phone has two rear cameras. The third one that looks like camera is the phone's LED Flash light.
Also unlike that of the earlier phone that's made of plastic and sports a combination of matte and glossy finish, the back cover of the Spark 10 Pro is made of glass, and it has frosty matte finish.

As i briefly said earlier, Spark 10 Pro has a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Which means the Power button of this phone, situated on its right edge, also doubles as a fingerprint reader. And as usual, right above the Power button are the volume keys. On the left edge of this phone is its 4G dual nano-SIM card+microSD card slot. The phone's microphone, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, and single bottom firing speaker are all concentrated on its bottom edge. And there's nothing on the top edge of the Spark 10 Pro.

Similar Camera System:
Though Tecno Spark 10 Pro has a 32-megapixel front camera like the Spark 9 Pro, but the triple rear camera on the earlier phone has been reduced to dual-rear camera on the Tecno Spark 10 Pro. Still, the main rear camera still has a 50-megapixel sensor like the earlier one. While the second rear camera is made up of QVGA sensor (which assist the main camera in taking clearer picture, especially in low-light environments). So Depth sensing camera is missing on the latest phone.

Photos taken from the rear camera of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro look good. They are clear, sharp and detailed. Photos have rich colours and good dynamic range. Night Mode shots are also clear and vivid without over-exposed.
However, compared to the ones taken with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy A04S (SM-A047F), the shots from the Spark 10 Pro are on the saturated side (they seem to have more or excess colours). This is can be noticed from the shots that include red colour and other similar colours.

Normally, if you're the type of person that doesn't pay so much attention to certain photo attributes like colour accuracy and skin tone, you'll really like the shots from rear camera of the Spark 10 Pro. Because they are clear, sharp and bright. Even for a phone at this price point.
Selfies taken with the front camera of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro are also sharp, clear and look vivid. Still like the ones from the earlier phone, the selfies from this phone are not as detailed as expected of a 32-megapixel front camera. The skin tone also look a little less accurate.

Meanwhile, with HDR Off, both the front and rear cameras of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro are capable of shooting 2K videos at 30fps (frame per second). But there's no image stabilization.
But with HDR On, the front and rear cameras are only capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30fps (frame per second). And there is still no image stabilization.

A Big Attractive 90Hz Display:
Though the slightly bigger 6.8-inch IPS-LCD screen of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro also features a 1080p resolution like the 6.6-inch screen of the Spark 9 Pro, but as a result of its different aspect ratio (20.5:9), the latest phone's screen packed a slightly different pixels of 2460-by-1080, compared to the 2408-by-1080 pixels of the earlier one. Also due to its bigger size, the screen of the Spark 10 Pro has a little lower pixel density (or sharpness) of 393ppi, compared to 400ppi of the earlier one.

Nonetheless, like the one on the earlier Spark 9 Pro, the screen of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro also look nice. It maintain the clarity and sharpness of the earlier one. And it also has rich and vivid colours. Even the latest screen looks more stunning, because it has high colour gamut, just like the one on the last year Tecno Camon 19 (ci6) and Camon 19 Pro (ci8). Meaning the colours are slightly more accurate, richer and more vivid on the screen of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro, compared to that of the Spark 9 Pro.

Also, unlike the earlier one, the screen of the Spark 10 Pro supports 90hz (or high) screen refresh rate; for smoother page scrolling and animation. Furthermore, the screen is also more brighter than the earlier one. This makes the screen of the Spark 10 Pro to look more vibrant than that of the earlier phone. And it also make the screen to be more usable under direct sunlight.
Note: As i mentioned earlier, the screen of the Spark 10 Pro looks exactly like that of the Infinix Hot 30.

Similar Processing Power, But Higher RAM And Latest Android OS:
Out-of-the-box, Tecno Spark 10 Pro running on the Android 13 OS with the latest version of Tecno custom UI (HiOS 12.6) on top. And the phone is powered by the Helio G88 CPU.
But as i mentioned earlier, the Helio G88 CPU and the Helio G85 CPU; that's inside the earlier model, have the same processing power. The two of them are 12nm octa-core processors, with the same maximum clock speed of 2.0Ghz. The two CPUs also feature the same Mali-G52 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit).

And like its predecessor, Tecno Spark 10 Pro delivered a satisfactory performance. Even, the latest phone is equipped with an higher RAM of 8GB, the phone was able to run the latest Android 13 OS with little or no effort. In other words, Tecno Spark 10 Pro maintain consistence smooth performance despite running on the latest Android OS. Even the phone handles many mid-range and a few high end games very well, at medium graphics settings though.

Furthermore, like the earlier model, you can still boost the performance of this phone through MemFusion. Which enables you to convert up to 8GB of free space (out of the phone's inbuilt storage) to virtual RAM. Thereby allowing you to increase the phone's default 8GB RAM up to 16GB.
Meanwhile, both the 128GB and 256GB internal storage options of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro can also expanded via microSD card up to 1TB (One Terabyte).

Same Battery capacity, Same Fast Charging:
Talking about its battery and other related features, Tecno Spark 10 Pro has everything in common with the earlier model. Because the latest phone also features 5,000mAh battery, USB Type-C port, and 18W Quick charging. And with the latest phone's out-of-the-box charger, it'll take you about one hour forty minutes to fully charged the phone's battery when it drops to zero percent.
