Infinix Hot 11 (X689F) or Infinix Hot 11 (G37) is the successor to the last year's Infinix Hot 10 (X682B). It's also the standard variant of the recently released Infinix Hot 11 series. Others are Infinix Hot 11 Play and Infinix Hot 11 Pro.
Note: Infinix Hot 11 that's available in other regions, like India, retain the Helio G70 CPU of the earlier Hot 10.
Also Infinix Hot 11 (G37) should not be mistaken for Infinix Hot 11 Play (X688B).

Design-wise, Infinix Hot 11 looks different from its predecessor, yet there is nothing exciting or impressive about the new phone's looks. In fact, i prefer the looks of the earlier phone to that of the Hot 11.
Though, compared to the 6.78-inch HD+ display of the Hot 10, Infinix Hot 11 features a slightly bigger HD+ display of 6.82-inch, but instead of camera cut-out (Infinity-O), the screen of the latest phone sports a tear-drop notch; which makes the front of the phone to looks less sleeker than that of the earlier model.

It should be recalled that the Infinix Hot 10T (X689C); the better equipped variant of the Hot 10, features the same 6.82-inch drop-notch display. In other words, the front of the Hot 11 looks exactly like that of the Infinix Hot 10T. In addition to that, the screen of the Hot 11 also support 90Hz refresh rate like that of the Hot 10T.
But because the back cover of the Infinix Hot 11 sports a less attractive design pattern, the entire back of the phone also looks less appealing, despite the fact that the camera bump and the arrangement of sensors are still like those of the Hot 10 and Hot 10T.

Nonetheless, the phone is equipped with a better camera system than its predecessor, still the camera set-up is similar to that of the Hot 10T. In other words, and compared to the 16-megapixel Quad back camera of the Hot 10, Infinix Hot 11 is fitted a 50-megapixel Triple rear camera; which is almost the same with the 48-megapixel Triple rear camera of the Hot 10T. But, Infinix Hot 11 retain the 8-megapixel front-facing camera that accompanied both of the earlier two phones and prior models.

Apart from its better rear camera, almost all other internal features of the Hot 11 are also better than those of the Hot 10, however the phone is fitted with a less powerful CPU. Because Inifnix Hot 11 is fitted with the Helio G37 CPU; which is less powerful than the Helio G70 CPU that's inside Hot 10.

Yet, unlike the earlier phone that came with the 3GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage space and Android 10 OS, Infinix Hot 11 is equipped with an higher RAM of 4GB and twice storage space of 128GB. The phone is also running on the recent Android 11 OS with the latest version of XOS custom UI on top.

Also stronger than the 5200mAh battery that's inside Hot 10, Infinix Hot 11 is fitted with a 6000mAh battery (the same battery that powered Hot 10T). Yet, in spite of its bigger battery, Infinix Hot 11 lack support for fast charging like its predecessor. And it also retain the MicroUSB port, rear-mounted fingerprint reader and the single (bottom-firing) speaker of the earler phone.

Price And Colour Design:
Currently, the price of the Infinix Hot 11 is about 105,000. And it is available in four colour options of Turquoise Cyan, Polar Black, 7 Degree Purple and Exploratory Blue.

Note: The selling points of the Hot 11 are its higher screen refresh rate, higher RAM, twice storage space, stronger battery and slightly better rear camera. Otherwise there is nothing unusual or impressive about Infinix Hot 11. Let's not forget that the phone look less attractive than the Infinix Hot 10, and it is also equipped with a less powerful CPU.

VERDICT: If you're in the market for a sleek-looking phone with an array of impressive and cool features, i dont think Infinix Hot 11 is meant for you. But if you are looking for an entry-level phone with a big screen, 4GB of RAM, higher storage space of 128GB and a stronger 6000mAh battery, and that'll also handle your day to day usage very well, i think Infinix Hot 11 is a right choice.

Infinix Hot 11 Design:
Though the front of the Hot 11 doesn't look like that of the Hot 10, but as i mentioned before, it looks exactly like that of the Hot 10T. However, and despite the fact that the phone camera bump also look like that of the Hot 10 (and Hot 10T), still, the back of the Hot 11 look less attractive than those of the two earlier phones. And i concluded that this has something to do with an uninspiring design pattern, or small lines, engraved on the semi-glossy finish back cover of the latest phone.

Meanwhile, the arrangement of ports and buttons (and their positions) on the Hot 11 are still similar to those on the earlier phones. For instance, this phone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint, and it also has its power button and volume rockers placed on the right edge. And on its left edge is the 3-in-1 SIM slot (and tray). This phone also comes with a MicroUSB port; which is located on the bottom edge, alongside speaker grille, microphone and 3.5mm audio jack. Also like that of the earlier phone, there is nothing on the top edge of the Infinix Hot 11.
By the way, as a result of its 171.5x77.5x9.2mm dimension and 6000mAh battery, Infinix Hot 11 is a big phone and it is on the heavier side too. So, it is not that easy to hold and operate this phone with one hand comfortably.

An Higher 50-Megapixel Triple Back Camera:
Though Infinix Hot 11 retain the 8-megapixel front-facing camera and dual front-flash of its predecessor, but the number of back cameras has been reduced from four (on the Hot 10) to three on the latest phone. However, compared to the 16-megapixel Main back camera of the Hot 10, the Main back camera of the Hot 11 is fitted with a better 50-megapixel sensor.
Meanwhile, the other two back cameras on the Hot 11 are made up of a 2-megapixel Depth sensor (for taking pictures with Bokeh effects or blurred backgrounds) and a QVGA or AI sensor (which assists the main camera in taking brighter pictures in low-light environments).

However, and in spite of its higher megapixel sensor, the back camera of the Hot 11 is only capable of shooting 1080p videos (max) at 30fps (frame per second), unlike that of the earlier phone which can go up to 2K at 30fps. And like its back camera, the front camera of the Hot 11 is also capable of shooting 1080p videos. I think this has something to do with the downgraded CPU. This phone is also capable of shooting Slow-motion videos at 120fps
Though the pictures taken with this phone's cameras are not impressive, but they look good and natural. The pictures don't look overblown and the colours are not saturated.

Slightly Bigger 90 Hz Display But Same Resolution:
Unlike the 6.78-inch screen of the Hot 10, the minute bigger 6.82-inch screen of the Hot 11 offers an higher refresh rate of 90Hz; which makes page scrolling and animations look smoother on the phone's screen.
Yet, in spite of its slightly bigger size, the HD+ display of the Hot 11 is also made up of the same 1640x720 resolution as that of the Hot 10. But, due to its slightly bigger bigger size and the same resolution, the latest phone's display has a little lower pixel density (or sharpness) of 262ppi, compared to the 264ppi of the Hot 10. Still, it's obvious that the difference in their pixel densities is negligible.
Though, like the pictures taken with the phone's cameras, the displaying colours and brightness level of this phone's screen are not impressive, but they look fine and okay.

Downgraded Processing Power:
The MT6765H or Helio G37 that powered Infinix Hot 11 is a recently unveiled MediaTek processor. But this CPU is slightly less powerful than the Helio G70 that came with the Hot 10. Though both of them are 12nm Octa-core processors, but while the Octa-core CPU of the Helio G37 is made up of 8x-Cortex A53-Arm with a maximum clock speed of 2.3GHz, that of the Helio G70 is made up 2x-Cortex A75 Arm and 6x-Cortex A55 Arm and has a maximum clock speed of 2.0GHz.
Also compared to the Mali-G52 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) of the earlier chipset, Helio G37 is fitted with a slightly less powerful IMG PowerVR-8320 GPU.

Nonetheless, Infinix compensates the lower processing power of the Hot 11 with an higher RAM of 4GB and twice storage space of 128GB. The higher storage can also be expanded, via microSD card, up to 256GB.
Also unlike its predecessor, Infinix Hot 11 is running on the recent Android 11 OS (Operating System) with the latest Infinix XOS 8.0 custom UI; which includes features like X-Proof (Similar to Tecno's Peek-Proof). X-Proof prevents people sitting beside you from completely seeing what's on your screen.

A Bigger 6000mAh Battery But Still No Fast Charging:
Though the 5200mAh battery that came with the Hot 10 is more than sufficient, yet Infinix equipped the latest phone with a stronger 6000mAh battery. However, in spite of its bigger battery, Infinix Hot 11 lack support for fast charging like its predecessor. As a result, and with its out of the box 10W charger, it'll take you about three and half hours to fully charge Infinix Hot 11 battery when it drops to 1 percent.
