If you're looking for a budget friendly phone with respectable processing power and impressive back camera, you might want to consider Infinix Hot 10T (X689C). Infinix Hot 10T is the new and improved variant of the late last year's Infinix Hot 10 (X682B). Some of the features of the earlier phone like Helio G70 processor, 64GB storage and 8-megapixel front camera are also present in the Hot 10T.

Also due to their similar camera bumps, the back of the Hot 10T looks like that of the Hot 10, but the latest phone sport a Drop-notch display instead of an Infinity-O display like the Hot 10.

Except for the ones mentioned above, other features of the Infinix Hot 10T are better than those of the Hot 10. For instance, and compared to the 13-megapixel quad back camera of the Hot 10, Infinix Hot 10T is fitted with a 48-megapixel triple back camera. Surprisingly, this back camera delivered impressive pictures that are almost on par with those of the premium phones.

Infinix Hot 10T also sport a slightly bigger 6.82-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate, though the screen is still a 720p one.

Furthermore, Infinix Hot 10T offers a slightly higher RAM of 4GB and another storage option of 128GB (besides the 64GB). Unlike the earlier phone also, Infinix Hot 10T is running on the latest Android 11 OS with the latest Infinix XOS custom UI on top of it.

This phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery. Though this is a little less than the 5200mAh battery of the Hot 10, yet, the phone's battery capacity is more than enough for watching YouTube videos and playing games for longer time. Like the earlier phone, however, Infinix Hot 10T doesn't support fast charging.

Note: Tecno Spark 7P (KF7J) is another similar contender in this category. In fact, Tecno Spark 7P has almost everything in common with the Infinix Hot 10T.

Infinix Hot 10T Design:

Putting them side by side, the size of the Infinix Hot 10T is almost the same with that of the Hot 10. And it's because the 6.82-inch display of the Hot 10T is just a hair bigger than the Hot 10's 6.78-inch screen.

But instead of having a hole-punch (Infinity-O) like that of the Hot 10, Infinix Hot 10T display sport a drop-notch. For me, i still prefer the Infinity-O display of the Hot 10 to the Drop-notch display of the Hot 10T, mainly because the Drop-notch display of the latest phone looks somehow dated.

Besides having almost the same size as that of the Hot 10, Infinix Hot 10T display also features the same 20.5:9 aspect ratio and has the same HD+ resolution of 1640x720. But due to its slightly bigger size, Infinix Hot 10T display has a little lower pixel density of 262ppi.

Meanwhile, the higher (90Hz) refresh of the latest phone's display ensures that your games, page scrolling and texts appear smoother on the screen. And if you are not a fan of the 90Hz refresh rate, you can choose the regular 60Hz refresh rate mode or Automatic refresh rate mode in the Display Settings. It should be noted that the 90Hz refresh rate mode consumes a slightly more power than the regular 60Hz refresh rate mode.

Despite that the phone features triple back camera, instead of quad back camera like the Hot 10, the back of the Hot 10T still resembles that of the Hot 10, and this is as a result of their similar back camera bumps. Also, the back cover of the Hot 10T is smooth and has a glossy finish like that of the Hot 10. But different from that of the Hot 10, the back cover of the Hot 10T has a diamond-shaped patterns.

The rest of the visible attributes of the Infinix Hot 10T remain as those of the earlier model. For instance, Infinix Hot 10T also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader and a microUSB port. Others like 3.5mm audio jack, SIM cards slot, power button and volume rockers are also located in their usual positions.

Design Colours And Price:

Infinix Hot 10T is available in four colour options of Morandi Green, Heart Of Ocean, 7 Degree Purple, and 95 Degree Black. The price of the 4GB/64GB version of the phone is about 85,000 Naira, while that of the 4GB/128GB version is around 103,000 Naira.

Same Cpu As Hot 10, But Latest OS, Higher RAM And Higher Storage Option:

Under the hood, Infinix 10T is fitted with the Helio G70 MediaTek cpu, the same processor that powered Infinix Hot 10. This means that like the earlier phone, the latest phone also packed enough processing power to run your recent applications and games smoothly. By the way, Helio G70 is a mid-level yet powerful 6x Cortex-A55 (with 2x Cortex-A75) octa-core gaming chipset. And for an optimum graphics performance, the chipset is fitted with the Mali-G52 GPU (Graphics Processing Units).

Yet, better than the Hot 10's 3GB of RAM, Infinix Hot 10T is fitted with 4GB of RAM. The 4GB of RAM is necessary for the Hot 10T to run the latest Android OS smoothly. Because the phone is pre-installed with the Android 11 OS (Operating System) unlike the Hot 10 that comes with the Android 10 OS. Infinix Hot 10T is also preloaded with the latest Infinix XOS 7.5 custom UI, and this is running on top of the latest OS.

Though Infinix Hot 10T has 64GB internal storage like the Hot 10, yet the latest phone still offers another storage option of 128GB. And the internal storage space of both variants of the phone can be expanded, via microSD card, up to 512GB.

Impressive Back Camera Bus Same Selfie Lens:

The best features of the Infinix Hot 10T is its 48-megapxel triple back camera which delivered a more clearer and detailed pictures than those of the rivals. In other word and more than those of many phones in its category, the pictures taken with the Hot 10T rear camera look more natural and have clear details.

And while the primary back camera, which has the 48-megapixel sensor, is meant for taking portrait shots, the second rear camera, with a 2-megapixel macro sensor, is meant for taking detailed pictures of close-up objects. The third back camera comprises of QVGA or AI sensor, and it's for taking brighter pictures in low lights environments.

But as i said earlier, Infinix Hot 10T is fitted with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera like the Infinix Hot 10. Nonetheless, both the front and back cameras of the Hot 10T are capable of shooting 2K videos at 30fps (frame per second), while the back camera is capable of shooting Slow-Motion videos at 240fps.

5000mAh Battery:

Agreed, the 5000mAh battery of the Hot 10T is more than sufficient. Still, considering the slightly bigger 6.82-inch screen of the phone which also support higher Refresh rate, maintaining the 5200mAh battery of the Hot 10 would've have been a more welcoming idea.

Like the earlier phone, however, Infinix Hot 10T doesn't support fast charging. Therefore, it'll take you about 4 hours to fully charge this phone from 1 one per cent.
