Considering phone's name, Tecno Spark 5 Air (KD6) supposed to be a lighter or stripped down variant of the Tecno Spark 5.
Instead, the phone still packed almost all the features of the Spark 5. Though, compared to that of Spark 5, Tecno Spark 5 Air offers a slightly bigger screen of 7.0-inch. It's also mounted with a dual-lens back camera and runs on the Go Edition of the Android 10 Q.
Yet, as i said earlier, Tecno Spark 5 Air has the same Helio A22 MediaTek chipset, 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage capacity as the Spark 5. This phone also has the same 8MP front facing camera and its Main back camera is also fitted with the same 13MP lens.
Tecno Spark 5 Air is also powered by a 5000mAh battery like the Spark 5.
The price of the Spark 5 Air is close to that of the Spark 5. Because, the current price of the Spark 5 Air is 49,990 Naira (GHs 630, KES 12,299), while that of the Tecno Spark 5 is 53,000 Naira.

Spark 5 Air Design And Display:
Instead of having a hole-punch like that of the Tecno Spark 5, the larger display of the Spark 5 Air sport a waterdrop notch. The 7.0-inch screen also packed a slightly different HD+ resolution of 1640x720, and it has a pixel density of 255ppi. This huge display also features a taller 20.5:9 aspect ratio; which makes it a better choice for watching HD movies, YouTube videos and playing games.
Also, it's this taller aspect ratio that enables this bigger phone to be held and operated with one hand to an extent. To an extent in the sense that, you'll still need the assistant of the second hand, once in a while, especially when there is need to reach the top of the display.
The Back And Ports Of The Air:
Meanwhile and despite its larger size, the back of the Tecno Spark 5 Air (which is also made of plastic) still looks like that of the Spark 5. In other words, Tecno Spark 5 Air also has a rectangular-shaped camera module, and the dual-lens rear camera of the phone is placed on the left side of the module, while the Triple-LED flash is found on the right side.
As usual, the Spark 5 Air's rear-mounted fingerprint reader is placed on its centre-back (close to the top). And while the volume rockers and power button is placed on the phone's right edge, the dual Nano-LTE SIM tray is located on the left edge.
Furthermore, the MicroUSB port, speaker grille, microphone and 3.5mm audio jack, are located on the bottom edge of the Tecno Spark 5 Air.
