The recently unveiled Spark 4 (KC8) is a budget smartphone from the Tecno-Mobile, and it's also the successor to the Tenco Spark 3 (KB7J); released earlier this year. Like the Spark 3, Tecno Spark 4 also features MediaTek A22 CPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space. In fact, Tecno Mobile returns the main internal components of the earlier Spark phone to the latest Spark 4.
Unlike the Spark 3, however, Spark 4 features a different, yet more attractive design, a slightly bigger 6.52-inch display, triple rear cameras and a better battery capacity of 4000mAh.
Meanwhile, a closer look at the design, specs and features of the Tecno Spark 4 (KC8), shows that the phone has almost everything in common with the recent Infinix Hot 8 (X650B) except that the Infinix Hot 8 offers a slightly bigger screen and bigger battery capacity.

Design: Tecno Spark 4 looks like the Camon 12:
Except for its basic specs, Tecno Spark 4 is exact replica of the Tecno Camon 12, therefore, Tecno Spark 4 can also be seen as the base variant of the Camon 12.
So, like the Tecno Camon 12, Spark 4 features the same 6.52-inch HD+ (720p) display, the phone also features the same waterdrop screen-notch and 20:9 aspect ratio. Tecno Spark 4 also comes with the three rear cameras; which are also vertically arranged in an enclosure, along with the Quad-LED flash, on the back of the new phone.
The Fingerprint readers of both Tecno Spark 4 and Camon 12 are also located at the similar spots. Furthermore, the backing of the Tecno Spark 4 is also made of polycarbonate (glassy material) like that of the Camon 12, however, the back of the Tecno Camon 12 looks more premium and elegant.

Although, Tecno Spark 4 and Spark 3 have different look, both of them have almost the same thickness. In other words, Spark 4 has a thickness of 8.2mm, which is almost the same as the 8.15mm thickness of the previous Spark 3. Nonetheless, the latest phone appears narrower.
Bigger Display And 20:9 Aspet Ratio:
Like that of the previous Spark 3, Tecno Spark 4 display also features an HD+ (720) IPS-LCD panel. But the slightly bigger 6.52-inch screen of the Spark 4 features waterdrop-notch; instead of the wide or standard screen-notch that came with the 6.2-inch display of the Tecno Spark 3.
Also, as a result of its bigger size and 20:9 aspect ratio, Tecno Spark 4 display comes with a different screen resolution of 1600x720, instead of the 1500x720 that's found on the Spark 3 display. Also, it's the 20:9 aspect ratio that makes the Spark 4 to have a narrow body.
Still, despite the differences in their screen sizes and resolutions, both phones' displays have almost the same sharpness. And it is because Tecno Spark 4 display has a pixel density of 269ppi, while that of the Spark 3 has a pixel density of 268ppi.
Same CPU And RAM As The Spark 3 (KB7J), But Twice Storage:
Like its predecessor, Tecno Spark 4 is powered by the same MT6761 Helio A22 Quad-Core CPU, with the clock speeds of up to 2.0GHz. Which also means the latest phone has the same PowerVR GE8320 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), as the Spark 3.
Also like the earlier phone, Tecno Spark 4 features 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space. And the internal storage space can also be increased, via MicroSD card, of up to 128GB.
Concerning its software, Tecno Spark 4 is running on the Android 9 Pie O.S. (Operating System), along the Tecno's HIOS 5.0.2 UI.
Triple Back Camera, But Same 8MP Selfie Lens As The Spark 3:
Compare to the dual back camera of the Spark 3 (KB7J), Tecno Spark 4 features triple rear cameras. The Primary or Main camera is made up of 13MP lens; it should be recalled that it's the same 13MP Main camera that the Tecno Mobile put on the back of the previous Spark 3 (KB7J). The second camera on the back of the Spark 4 is made up of 2MP Depth sensing lens, while the third QVGA camera is meant for low-light pictures.
Tecno also returned the same 8MP, front-facing camera (that came with the previous Spark 3) to the new Spark 4, and the new phone also features Face Unlock. Meanwhile, as a result of its waterdrop screen-notch, Tecno Spark 4 does not have notification LED Flash, instead, the latest Spark phone features Screen Flash, which are embedded in the top bezel of the display, on both sides of the notch.
Better 4000mAh Battery:
Besides having a slightly bigger display, Tecno Spark 4 also offers a better battery capacity.
