Both Pouvoir 3 Plus and Camon 12 Pro are the recently introduced smartphones from the Tecno Mobile. While the Pouvoir 3 Plus is the upgraded version of the Tecno Pouvoir 3 (released few months ago), Camon 12 Pro, on the other hand, is the sibling of the newly introduced Tecno Camon 12.
However, the new Tecno Camon 12 Pro can be said to be a lower version of the recent Tecno Phantom 9, while the Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus can also be said to be a lower version of the Camon 12 Pro. This is because, despite the fact that both phones belongs to the different Series of the Tecno Mobile, they have a lot in common.
For instance, both of them have identical design, similar triple rear camera, same screen size, same Amoled display panel, same processing power, same internal storage, and both of them also feature Google Assistant Button.
Nevertheless, Tecno Camon 12 Pro has a much better selfie camera, higher RAM and better Main rear camera, compare to those of the Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus.
In summary, Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus is meant for those who desires the premium Tecno Phatom 9 or the less pricier Tecno Camon 12 Pro, but at a slightly less price.
Meanwhile, the following are the summary of the main differences between the Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus and Camon 12 Pro.

Both Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus and Camon 12 Pro look exactly like the Phantom 9, except for their different build quality. Besides, among the three phones, Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus is the only one that has the traditional rear-mounted fingerprint reader, the two others have In-display fingerprint reader.
On their build qualities, unlike the Tecno Camon 12 Pro (and Phantom 9) that has polycarbonate (glass-like material) backing, the back of the Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus is made of plastic. And with its 193g weight, Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus is on the heavy side too, because the Camon 12 Pro weigh 164g. The Pouvoir 3 Plus is also more thicker than the Tecno Camon 12 pro, this is as a result of the Pouvoir 3 Plus 9.17mm thickness, compare to the 7.8mm thickness of the Camon 12 Pro.

In addition to their identical screen size, both Pouvoir 3 Plus and Camon 12 Pro also have the same 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Both of them also feature Dot-notch at the top of their screens, and on both sides of the Dot-notch is the dual screen flash, also embedded above the notch is the earpiece.
Furthermore, on the left edge of the phones, close to the Hybrid SIM slot, is the Google Assistant Button, and there are Volume rockers and Power Button on the right edge. Both Tecno Camon 12 Pro and Pouvoir 3 Plus come with the same screen size of 6.35-inch. And both of them also feature the same Amoled screen panel, which offers accurate colours and better picture quality than the usual IPS-LCD screen. Also, both phones dispays are equipped with the same HD+ (1548x720) resolution.
however!, due to their different screen aspect ratio, each phone's display comes with different screen resolutions.
In other words, because the Tecno Camon 12 Pro has a screen aspect ratio of 20:9, its 6.35-inch display comes with the 1600x720 resolution, while the 6.35-inch screen of the Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus has a resolution of 1548x720, which is also, as a result of the phone's different aspect ratio of 19.5.9. Both Tecno Camon 12 Pro and Pouvoir 3 Plus are powered by the same Mediatek MT6760 Helio P22 Octa-core processor, with the clocks speed of up to 2.0GHz, and two of them are also fitted with the same PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The two phones are also running on the Android 9 Pie, but while the Camon 12 Pro features Tecno HiOS 5.5 UI, Pouvoir 3 Plus features HiOS 5.0.2.
Although, both phones have the same internal storage capacities, Tecno Camon 12 Pro comes with a slightly higher RAM, in other words, while the Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus features 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage space, Tecno Camon 12 Pro is equipped with an higher 6GB of RAM but with same 64GB built-in storage. Meanwhile, instead of having traditional or physical rear-mounted fingerprint reader like the Pouvoir 3 Plus, Camon 12 Pro comes with the trendy In-display fingerprint sensor. Though both of them also feature Face Unlock, as another form of security enhancement.
Pouvoir 3 Plus has a much bigger 6000mAh Battery:
Tecno fitted the Pouvoir 3 Plus with a whooping 6000mAh battery capacity, which is even higher than the 5000mAh that normally accompanied Pouvoir phones.
However, Camon 12 Pro features 3500mAh battery capacity, which is much lower than than the 6000mAh of the Pouvoir 3 Plus, it's even lower than 4000mAh that comes with the Camon 12.
It's obvious that Pouvoir 3 Plus will last more days than Camon 12 Pro, on a single charging. But because both phones come with the Amoled panel and 720p screen resolution; these two features will make the lower battery capacity of Camon 12 Pro to last long too.
