TECNO POUVOIR 3 (LB7) SPECS:
Tecno Pouvoir 3 Trendy Design:
Tecno Pouvoir 3 design is quite different from that of the other Pouvoirs, instead, it shares looks with the recent Tecno Spark 3 and Infinix Hot 7, except for its single lens back camera.
In other words, unlike the last year's Pouvoir model; that features 6.0-inch display, the latest Tecno Pouvoir 3 features 6.2-inch notched display with 19:9 screen aspect ratio. Compare to those of previous models that have 18:9 screen aspect ratio, the 19:9 screen aspect ratio enables the phone to have slender frame.
However, except for this distinct design, most of the components of the TECNO Pouvoir 2, Pouvoir 2 Pro & Pouvoir 2 Air, are also found in the new phone. For instance the new phone comes with a single lens back camera like others, and this back camera lens is also fitted with the same number of megapixels.
Also, like its predecessors, the Pouvoir 3 also features the same Android (O.S.) version, same battery capacity and similar processing power. The rear mounted finger scanner and back camera positions are also similar to those of the Pouvoir 2 and Pouvoir 2 Pro.
Price and Colours:
Meanwhile, the new phone comes in 3 colours of City Blue, Midnight Black and Champagne Gold.
The price of the Tecno Pouvoir 3 is currently about 41,000 Naira, and it's available in major smartphones shops, retail outlets and online stores across the nation.
6.2-inch notched display:
Like most of the recent budget phones, Tecno Pouvoir 3 Sports 6.2-inch display, a notch and an aspect ratio of 19:9.
Meanwhile, the new phone display features an HD+ (720p) resolution like that of the Pouvoir 2 and Pouvoir 2 Pro, however, due to its trendy 19:9 screen aspect ratio, Pouvoir 3 has a screen resolution of 1500x720, instead of the 1440x720 resolution that's found on the display of the last year's model.
However, despite the obvious difference in their screen sizes and resolutions, the Tecno Pouvoir 3 and the previous Pouvoirs' displays still have the same pixel density of 268ppi. In other words, the new phone and its predecessors still have the same screen sharpness.
Memory and Processing Power:
Tecno Pouvoir 3 is powered by the MediaTek MT6739 Quad-Core processor, which has a clock speed of up to 1.5GHz, and also fitted with the PowerVR GE8100 GPU.
The new phone doesn't come with the latest Android 9 Pie as expected, instead, it's preloaded with Android 8.1 Oreo and Tecno HiOS UI.
Furthermore, Tecno Pouvoir 3 comes with 2GB RAM and an in-built storage space of 32GB.
NOTE: It should be recalled that the above processing power, Android version and RAM, of the Pouvoir 3, are also similar to those of the previous Pouvoir 2, therefore, you should expect the same performance from the new phone.
However, unlike the Pouvoir 2 and Pouvoir 2 Pro that have 16GB internal storage, the new Pouvoir 3 features 32GB in-built storage, which can be expanded, via MicroSD Card, up to 128GB.
Pouvoir 3 Also Comes With A 13MP Back Camera And 13MP Front Camera:
Like all its three predecessors, Tecno Pouvoir 3 has a single lens back camera; which is also made up of 13MP lens.
The back camera is found at the centre back of the phone, close to the top, directly below the fingerprint sensor. In fact, the back camera and the fingerprint reader set-up of the new phone are similar to those of the previous ones.
The front camera of the new phone also has the same megapixels as that of the Pouvoir 2 Pro, i.e., the Selfie camera of the Tecno Pouvoir 3 is also made up of 13MP, like that of the Pouvoir 2 Pro.
5000mAh Battery Returns:
The strength of the Pouvoir phones lies in their battery lives. Therefore, and just like all the previous models, Tecno returns the same 5000mAh, non-removable battery to the latest Pouvoir 3. So, with normal usage, Tecno Pouvoir 3 will serve you more than a couple of days.
