Itel P33 Plus: Full Review, Specifications and Price.

ITELP33 PLUS SPECIFICATION
Itel P33 Plus comes with a 6.0-inch screen while the Itel P33 features 5.5-inch screen. This shows that the new Itel P33 and the previous Itel P32 are of equal size, in fact, the two also share basic specifications, though P33 has some improved features.

However, this review is about the P33 Plus alone, and this is because; except in some few areas such as bigger screen, better front camera and battery life, the P33 Plus has almost the same specs as the P33.
Like the P33, Itel P33 Plus comes in 3 colours of Black, Gold, Deep Blue, however, P33 Plus comes with additional Gradient Blue colour. Meanwhile, the current price of the P33 Plus is 35,000 Naira, and the phone is available in most of the smartphones shops, retail outlets and online stores across the country.
NOTE: with a little price increasement, Tecno Pouvoir 3 Air offers 4G, with the same screen size, resolution, battery capacity and specs.
VERDICT: With that price, it's easy to find phones that have similar basic internal components (RAM, ROM and processor) in the market, but!, it's not every time you come across a phone within that price range that features huge battery life, Face Unlock, better front and back camera.
The only issue i have with the P33 Plus is its display's low pixel density or less detailed screen, though, this is also due to its cheaper price, so, basically you shouldn't expect the clarity or sharpness of other phones, that feature HD+ (1440x720) display, from the Itel P33 Plus display.
Meanwhile, if you are an average user that doesn't pay much attention to the screen graphics, then this pixel density won't be a big issue to you, besides, being an IPS-LCD Display like other costlier phones, the display renders better colour quality.

Itel P33 Plus comes with basic specs most of which you are already familiar with, still, below are the details of the Itel P33 Plus' specs.
Bigger 6.0" FullView WSVGA+ IPS Display:
In spite of its beautiful and bigger 6.0-inch screen, the Itel P33 Plus' display features FWVGA+ (960x480) resolution and 18:9 screen aspect ratio, just like its smaller sibling P33, and their predecessor, P32.
However, the FWVGA+ pixels may be okay for the P33 display, but it's a little on the low side for the P33 Plus screen size, because 960x480 pixels on a 6.0-inch screen means the display has 178ppi, while the same 960x480 pixels on 5.5-inch display means it has a better 195ppi.
RAM And ROM:
Like many other market entry android phones in this category, the P33 Plus has 1GB of RAM and storage space of 16GB, and of course, the phone also comes with a MicroSD slot for storage expansion, and the storage can be expanded, through the MicroSD Card, up to 32GB.
Android Go Edition and MT6580 MediaTek Chipset:
Concerning its O.S. (Operating System), Itel P33 Plus was preloaded with Android 8.1 (Oreo) Go Edition. And like most of the cheap and affordable android smartphones out there, the P33 Plus is also powered by the MediaTek MT6580 Quad-Core chipset with a processing speed of 1.3GHz and Mali-T400 GPU.
Dual-Back Camera With 8MP Front Camera:
Compare to the 5MP Selfie lens found on the P32, and even P33, P33 Plus come with a better front camera of 8MP, therefore unlike others P-series models before it, you'll enjoy better quality selfie pictures with the new P33 Plus.
Moving to the back of the P33 Plus, the new phone also features a dual-lens back camera like the earlier models. However, unlike the earlier models (P32 and P13) that come with horizontally arranged dual cameras, P33 Plus has its dual-back camera arranged vertically.
The P33 Plus also comes with a better 8MP Main (telephoto) back camera, remember that Itel P32 has 5MP Main back camera.
Itel P33 Plus features Face Unlock: Basically, P33 Plus comes with the rear mounted fingerprint reader like others, however, for its security enhancements, the new phone, and its small brother i.e. P33, also features Face Unlock.

The selling point of the P33 Plus is its battery capacity, because the phone is fitted with a huge 5000mAh non-removable battery. Though, the phone features a big 6.0-inch display, its low FWVGA+ screen resolution and the Android 8.1 Go Edition will definitely ensure you have more than enough power left in your big battery, after a long time of usage.
