iPhone XS, XS Max and XR deliver better Speeds, Specs and Performances than iPhone X.

A year after releasing iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the widely known iPhone X, Apple has unveiled another set of successive iPhones, and these are iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.
Design-wise, the three new iPhones are iterations of the last year's iPhone X. In other words, all the new iPhones feature edge-to-edge displays and screen notches. This means that the Touch IDs and thick bezels, that came with the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, are missing on the latest iPhones.
The adoption of iPhone X design in the new iPhones, also means that the usual Touch ID of the Apple iPhones has been replaced with Face ID; which was introduced in iPhone X. The new iPhones' displays are also bigger than those of their predecessors, though, like the iPhone X, the new iPhone XS has the same 5.8-inch screen size.
Meanwhile, out of the three new iPhones, iPhone XR is the least expensive. But it is also the only one among them that features IPS-LCD display, while the other two iPhones (iPhone XS and XS Max) feature OLED panels. Also while these two expensive models come with stainless steel frame, the less expensive iPhone XR comes with an aluminum frame. IPhone XR is also the only one among them that features a single lens back camera.
Nonetheless, all the three new iPhones come with glass backing (essential for wireless charging).
Under the hood, iPhone XR, XS and XS Max packed a better processing power than their predecessors, as all of them are equipped with the Apple's latest and faster A12 Bionic processor, higher RAMs and more storage options.
Price And Design Colours:
Meanwhile, both iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max comes in three colours options of Gold, Silver and Space Grey. On the other hand, iPhone XR comes in total number 6 colours options i.e. Red, White, Black, Yellow, Blue and Coral (pink).
Furthermore, while both of the iPhone XS and XS Max come with three storage options of 64GB, 256GB and 512GB. iPhone XR, on the other hand comes with storage options 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.

Bigger Screen Sizes:

And among the latest iPhones, iPhone XS is the one that comes with the 5.8-inch screen. Apart from having the same screen size as the iPhone X, iPhone XS also share almost the same body size or dimension with the iPhone X, and its display also features the same 2436x1125 resolution, 458ppi and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Furthermore the new iPhone XS has the same OLED display as the iPhone X, and Apple also called it Super Retina OLED display and it offers features such as Dolby vision and HDR 10.
The next one is the iPhone XR and it comes with a 6.1-inch display. Although, this phone's display is bigger than that of the iPhone XS, the screen is an IPS-LCD, and it is the only one among the new iPhones that features LCD panel. Meanwhile, the 6.1-inch display of iPhone XR is referred to as the Liquid Retina LCD display, and it has a slightly lower screen resolution of 1792x828 pixels, 326ppi but the same 19.5:9 aspect ratio like the iPhone XS.
The biggest of the three latest iPhones is the 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max, and like that of the iPhone XS, its display is also called Super Retina OLED display and offers Dolby vision and HDR 10 too. Furthermore, in order to maintain the same 458ppi (display sharpness) of iPhone XS on its bigger 6.5-inch display, iPhone XS Max comes with a higher screen resolution of 2688x1242 but with the same 19.5:9 screen aspect ratio like the other two.
Dual SIM Support:
Like many other smartphones, Apple has finally made its 2018 iPhones dual SIM support phones. However, there are few things you need to know concerning the new iPhones' dual SIM support;
The first thing is; this dual SIM support is restricted to iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. In other words, the cheap iPhone XR still comes with the usual single SIM slot.
Secondly, unlike your average dual SIM phones that make use of 2 physical SIM Cards at the same time, the new Dual SIM iPhones have only one slot for physical Nano SIM Card, while the second slot is more of a blank virtual SIM slot (or space) otherwise known as eSIM (electronic-SIM). And to make use of this eSIM you'll have to register for eSIM connectivity from a telecom operator that provides an eSim service.
How does eSIM work?
Through software updates, downloads or other related means, the telecom operator (that provides eSIM service) will put phone number (SIM ID), like that on your physical SIM card, on this eSIM virtual slot inside your iPhone and it will start to function like your physical SIM card.
Meanwhile, the above unusual dual SIM setup doesn't apply to the iPhone X (or iPhone XS Max) that's meant for the Chinese market. Because, unlike the other parts of the world, the Chinese will have the privilege of having physical dual SIM card slots in their new iPhones.
A12 Bionic processor, iOS 12 and 4GB RAM:
Unveiled in all the three latest iPhones is the new Apple's A12 Bionic 6-core processor. The first 7nm (nanometer) mobile phone processor; which the company says it's up to 15 percent faster than the last year's A11 Bionic processor, which is also happen to be a 10nm processor. Apple also says that the new processor is 50 percent power efficient than the A11 Bionic processor.
The new processor also includes an upgraded Neural Engine chip which the Apple called the Next-generation Neural Engine and the company says that this latest Neural Engine is about 10 times faster than the one inside the iPhone X.
Because the initial dedicated Neural Engine was designed for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning Apps, therefore, the Next-gen Neural Engine ensures these Apps (that depends on Neural Engine) launch 30 percent faster in the new iPhones.
On the Operating System (O.S), iPhone XR, iPhone XS and XS Max are all preloaded with the iOS 12, the latest Apple's O.S. for its iPhones and mobile devices, and the latest O.S is the successor to the last year's iOS 11.
Still, the iOS 12 is meant for both the new and existing mobile devices, because Apple says that both the existing and new iPhone users should expect better performances and faster applications launch on their iPhones.
Meanwhile, more than that of iOS 11, the latest iOS 12 comes with interesting features such as Instant Tuning which let you group and manage numerous notifications that often flooded your iPhone. Also, the Screen Time and Siri shortcuts are some of the new features of the iOS 12. Apple also says that the new iOS will later feature Group Face Time, which can be used by up to 32 people.
And with the aid of the Next-Gen Neural Engine, the new iOS 12 also helps you to create better Memoji that can also be used for Face Time.
Meanwhile, to complement the latest iOS 12 and the new processor, Apple offers 4GB RAM on both iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, which means the new iPhones' memory surpasses that of iPhone X with 1GB of RAM. However, like the previous iPhone X, the less expensive iPhone XR also comes with 3GB of RAM.

On the other, and like the previous iPhones, the cheaper iPhone XR also comes with options of 64GB and 256GB storage sizes too, yet, the new iPhone XR presents the buyers with another choice of 128GB storage space; which is in between the existing 64GB and 256GB storage.
Dual Back Camera Except in iPhone XR:
The back camera set up of iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max is the same as that of last years iPhone X i.e. each of the new iPhones comes with a dual 12MP (f/1.8 wide & f/2.4 telephoto) rear camera, except for the iPhone XR, that has a Single 12MP rear camera.

And speaking of the upgraded sensor, the primary rear lens of these iPhones comes with a larger, 2x faster sensor of 1.4um pixels, which is an improvement over the 1.2um sensor of iPhone X. This improved sensor enables the lens to accommodate more light, thereby assisting the camera in producing clearer and better pictures. Also with this development, the camera will be able to offer detailed and brighter images of the pictures taken at nights or low light conditions.
Same 7MP Front Facing Camera:
Just like in their primary rear cameras, also the front facing camera set up is the same across the new iPhones. In other words, each of the new iPhones comes with 7MP (f/2.2) front facing camera with True Depth technology for Face ID and better Animoji, just like in iPhone X.
Meanwhile, with the help of the latest Next-Gen Neural Engine, the new iPhones front facing cameras offer easier, faster and more secure Face ID unlocking, and according to Apple, even if you put on a hat, grow beard or wear glasses, the new Face ID will recognize you easily.

And for super fast internet downloading speed, Apple makes use of Gigabit-Class LTE, or simply Gigabit LTE, in the new iPhones. Remember Apple didn't include Gigabit-LTE in its year 2017 iPhones, yet Samsung introduced it in its Galaxy S8 for the same year.
More than 4G (LTE) of the iPhone X, the new iPhones Gigabit LTE ensures super fast downloading speed of up to 1Gb per second on the new iPhones, theoretically though. Practically, however, there are reports that while iPhone X downloading speed peaks around 50Mb per second (Mbps), iPhone XS Max and iPhone XS peak around 100 Mbps.
Therefore, and to an extent, this indicates that maximum downloading speed of the new iPhone XS, iPhone XR and iPhone XS Max should be twice of that of iPhone X.
