Tecno Spark 2; Price, Full Review And Specification.

Tecno Spark 2 is a subsequent version of the Tecno Spark otherwise known as the Spark k7; which was introduced late last year. Tecno Spark 2 is a low budget android smartphone, therefore, it features basic specs. And the phone has a starting price of about N34,000, and it's available in most mobile phone retail outlets across the country.
Meanwhile, and despite its new looks and attractive design, Tecno Spark 2 shares basic specs with its predecessor;

Therefore, just like in Spark k7, Spark 2 still has 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and 13MP Back Camera. Furthermore, like the previous one, the new phone's maximum supported network is WCDMA i.e. 3G, which means the phone doesn't support LTE (4G) network. And both of them have 1.3GHz MediaTek Processor.
Fortunately, there are better and latest features in Spark 2;

New and Improved Features

Bigger HD+ Screen: Although, Spark k7's  5.5" HD display is big enough for your multimedia and internet browsing, Spark 2 offers bigger (with slimmer bezels) 6.0" screen with improved HD+ (720*1440) pixels and recent 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen is still IPS LCD-LED capacitive touchscreen. 

Improved Front Camera: Also, the 5MP front camera of spark k7 has been replaced with higher and better 8MP in Spark 2. However, like mentioned earlier, the new phone still has 13MP Rear Camera like its predecessor, though the Flash LED, which was inside the camera in Spark k7, has been removed and placed outside of the new phone, and it's now situated below the camera lens.

Improved Battery Life: While Spark k7 has 3000mAh battery capacity, Spark 2 comes with stronger 3500mAh battery, but it should be noted that as the capacity of the battery has increased in Spark 2, so the Screen size (which have an effect on battery life) has increased too.

Face ID and stripped-down Android Oreo (Go Edition): Spark 2 is preloaded with latest Android 8.1 (Oreo), however, it is the Go Edition of the O.S, which is the second stripped down of the main Android Oreo, after Android One. It is designed to use less power and occupy less space in android phones that come with low specs,  it is specifically released for cheap Android phones with 1GB of RAM and lesser. Although there is expectation of software upgrades in the future, for phones with Go Edition O.S. Also, Tecno includes Face Unlock feature in Spark 2; in order to enhance the security of your phone, and at the same time gives you another option of flexible security feature besides the Fingerprint reader, which can only be found at the back of the phone.
