The striking feature of Camon CMore(CM) is its display. In 2017 some phone makers introduced 18:9 screen aspect ratio into the world of smartphones, for instance LG G6. And Tecno now join the league of these makers with the introduction of Camon CM.
18:9 aspect ratio, What difference does it make?
For aesthetic reason, phone makers have found ways to remove home button and also reduce thick bezels around phones' screens. Therefore, the result of this is the increased screen-to-body ratio which now gave the manufacturers the opportunity to put bigger screens inside small frames.
But, despite the achieved thin bezels, putting larger screen with 16:9 aspect ratio inside phone with a small body would still makes the overall phone body appears wide, and also, it would be awkward for user to hold and operate such phone with one hand, hence, the need to move to 18:9 aspect ratio, which now makes the phone to become narrow.
In other words, because phones are meant to hold and operate with one hand and in portrait mode (vertically), the 18:9 aspect ratio makes the large screen phones to become narrower or slimmer. Also, 18:9 aspect ratio makes the larger screen phones not to appear cumbersome.
What is the advantage of 18:9
Apart from sleeker look and slimmer bezels, it gives the phone's screen the opportunity to accommodate more icons. Furthermore, while reading or browsing, it gives you the opportunity to read more text and scroll less.

The only downside i know so far is in watching movies, many movies and videos are made in 16:9 mode and smartphones are required to be in landscape mode (horizontally) while watching movies in order for the film to fill the entire screen area. However, watching this type of movie in a phone with this 18:9 aspect ratio may leave 2 black bars,otherwise known as letter-boxing, at the sides of the screen area, but such bars may not appear on phones with 16:9 screen.

Performance and Storage: when it comes to the operating system (O.S.), the new phone comes with Android 7.0 (Nougat), and for its processing power, Camon Cm comes a mediatek chipset, Quad-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.3 GHz, which is paired with 2GB of RAM. The internal storage of the new phone is 16GB and, as usual, the phone also supports microSD card which can be expanded up to 32 GB.
LTE and Fingerprint reader: At the back of the phone spotted the Fingerprint reader, therefore, besides the Pattern lock, Camon CM provides another security enhancement through the fingerprint reader. And for ultra fast internet browsing and file downloading, the new phone also supports LTE (4G) network.
Better Front Camera: With its higher 13 megapixel front camera, Tecno Camon CM guarantees sharper and brighter Selfie pictures than most phones in its category, meanwhile, like its front camera, the rear facing camera of the phone also comes with 13 MP.
Battery: It is on this aspect of the phone that i expected Tecno Mobile to do more, being a 5.7-inch phone with 2 GB of RAM and 4G network. The company should have put 4000 mAh or at least 3500 mAh battery inside the up-to-date Camon CM, instead of 3000 mAh that came with it. On the bright side though, Android Nougat are designed to be efficient on the lives of batteries.
